HALLOWEEN AT THE BANK

Sunday, November 1st, 2009

These are the crazy people I work with at the bank. I love it that they are all such good sports and dressed up.

WITCHING HOUR

Wednesday, October 28th, 2009

I went with some of my friends to Witches’ Night Out at Gardner Village. What a Hoot! There were thousands of witches everywhere in every kind of costume imaginable.  We created quite a stir as we went to dinner at Winger’s in Kaysville.  The highlight was Kim dancing in the headlights at the end of the evening.

HALLOWEEN DECOR

Wednesday, October 28th, 2009

My house is all ready for Halloween.  I went all out this year because…well, just because.  It has been such a depressing year that anything that injects a little fun in life is OK with me.

GETTING READY FOR HALLOWEEN!

Wednesday, October 14th, 2009

The other day I got such a craving to create something cute. Not a quilt, that’s too big. So I went to the craft store and came out with a kit to make a darling witch. I decided to make one for my friend, LaRae, for her birthday.  I finished it and took it to her on Monday. The way her face lit up when she saw it let me  know I was on the right track. It really is a cute little witch made of yo yos.

Halloween Party at Grandma’s

Tuesday, November 11th, 2008

I’m a little behind, but that’s OK. Halloween was so much fun.  I had all my kids and grandkids here for a party and trick or treat. The menu was great!

We had witches fingers, giants toes, brains, maggots, troll fingers, and eyeballs.

Logan was a fire fighter, Karson was a cute dragon, Aidan was Buzz Lightyear, Conner was a banana, Kyler was a red dog, and Guinness was a cute little bumble bee. Gramma was a witch (of course) Professor Stitch, Teacher of Magical Sewing and Textiles, Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Sharon was Partly Cloudy with a chance of Rain.  Ben and Angel were Lester Jester and the Black Widow (long story).

I’ve got the greatest nail girl in the world who fixed me up with a spider and web for Halloween. The spider’s name is Sissy (Narcissa).
