Thanksgiving school activities reminded Brian of a teepee that I made when the kids were little. I actually made it as a birthday present for Brandon when he was about 3. We scouted out the basement and found it buried in a corner. The boys all remember it being a lot bigger! It was fun to see the grandkids playing in it with their daddys.
Last weekend we got to see Logan play in a football game, Karson play a soccer game, we had a birthday party for Logan and a birthday party for Steve on Wednesday.
For Steve’s birthday I got the most lucious assortment of cupcakes from a new cupcake store in Layton called Cutsy Cakes. YUM!!!
Saturday I got to go see Brian and Liz and the kids. Baby Annie has had some trouble with an ulcer but she is feeling better now. She is so sweet and beautiful. I’m not at all prejudiced!
Sharon, the kids and I went down to Saratoga Springs to watch Conner play a T-ball game. It took me back about 25 years when I watched my kids playing T-ball.
We went down to Brian and Liz’s on Sunday and had a great time. Liz’s mom, Francis, is there to help with the baby and we had a nice visit with her. Annie changes every day and she is so precious. Steve and I read books to the boys and it was just fun.
I’ve been doing some sewing for the baby. I’m always too tired after work to do any sewing but I’ve had motivation to get some pretty girl things done.
We have had a very happy event in our family. The birth of our first granddaughter. Annie Zella Burton born to Brian and Elizabeth Burton on July 14. She weighed in at 8 lbs 8 oz and was 21 inches long.
Last night Angel, Sharon and I went to a baby shower for Liz given by her neighbor. She got so many darling things. It is so fun to plan for a girl.
Liz is getting uncomfortably big, bless her heart! She is scheduled to be induced on the 14th of July, but any time now would be good!
