Texture Magic is so much fun to work with! Here are some of the projects I’ve done with it.

This is a pin cushion that I taught at the Fat Quarter Quilt Shop in Wendell Idaho. It is from the pattern “Framed” by Scrap Therapy.

This is from a pattern called “Feeling Patriotic” by Annie UnRein. The stars are created using glitzy thread and Texture Magic.

This is another cute pattern from Annie Unrein called “Texture Magic Totes”. I used glitzy blue thread to texturize the bottom. I used a scrap from the bottom piece to create the flower.

I took the cute lion motif from this piece of flannel and blew it up. I texturized yellow minkie and used raw edge applique. Simple!

Same thing here using different shades of brown minkie to create the caterpillar.

Here is a bag I created using home dec fabrics. The flower is made from texturized pieces of wool. The bottom panel is suede, headliner foam, and Texture Magic.

HMQS (Home Machine Quilting Show) was a whirwind ride for me. I had a booth, did demos, talked ALL day long for 3 days, won an award, and sent my cupcakes to market with Superior Threads!
My quilt won the Breast Cancer Awareness award which is given to a breast cancer survivor.
My cupcakes are going to be famous!!! They will be featured in the Superior Threads booth at Spring Market in Minneapolis next week. WOO HOO!!!
Team Zella’s Bazoomba’s participated in the walk for the cure on Saturday in all of our PINK BRA GLORY!
Sunday we celebrated Kyler’s birthday, Sharon’s birthday and Mother’s day.

Last night’s performance of Utah Voices was awe inspiring. I am so grateful for the experience of performing in such a great event. I’m really sad that it is over. We have worked so hard on that music, it seems like a waste of effort to only perform it once. Sharon is beautiful, don’t you think?

My lovely Sharon and I are singing in a Utah Voices concert on Friday Night. The program is called “Things Sacred and Profane”. The profane part, Carmina Barana, isn’t really all that profane, but it is comprised of poetry written in the 11th and 12th century by a bunch of love starved monks with good imaginations! The sacred part is some really beautiful music. Info and tickets: www.utahvoices.org.
